One Word

Writing has never been one of my favorite things to do. To put it in perspective, dread is a actually a word that comes to mind when I think about my freshman english class in college. Before this blog, the only writing that I ever came close to enjoying were lab reports or papers for work (which were 100% not creative). I've actually gotten a lot of enjoyment from writing my posts and I think it's been helping me to get my thoughts down. Today, I came across a website via Design Mom, called One Word that might just might help get rid of that uh-oh, I don't want to, feeling about writing. It works like this: you press the go button, a word pops up, and you have 60 seconds to write whatever that word inspires. I can't believe that I'm saying this, but it's actually sort of fun!  What?  Did I say that about writing??

Here's a shot of Jack, because this would be a boring post without it! :)

I hope you're all enjoying the weekend!

Mila's Daydreams

I came across this really sweet blog the other day...
It's snapshots of baby Mila's dreams, as imagined by her Mama.

Go have a look, it will make you smile.

Catalog living

On another note, this site makes me laugh!  I do love looking through catalogs, and this just makes it even better.

Catalog Living A look into the exciting lives of the people who live in your catalogs.

Here's a little taste of what you can expect...

A peaceful ending…

After achieving his life’s work of balancing the wicker ball on the radio, Terrence carefully removed his hat and went for his final swim.

Picnik

Rob and I got a new camera for my birthday.  Yay! It was a surprise for me...and I say that "Rob and I got a new camera" because really, we'll share it.
Not only have we had fun playing with our new toy, I've also come across the 2nd most addicting online space (that would be 2nd to this blog). It's a photo editing website called Picnik.  There are all kinds of fun tools for FREE!  Go ahead and try it...you'll be addicted too.

I am just now picking my jaw up off the floor...aren't these trees incredible?
