Crocuses (at least I think they are crocuses) are coming up in our yard!

Tiny Sprouts

I came across a great blog a few weeks and ago and I completely fell for everything about it! She writes about her life, her likes, and her business, Tiny Sprouts. Her name is Tracey, and she personalizes baby clothes and accessories using hand embroidery and turns them into adorable keepsakes. After reading her blog from the beginning, I had to order Jack a little something. It has a hood and a sailboat which I thought would be perfect for this summer!

Smiles and Sauce

Jack really wanted to feed himself last night.

I was hoping that he wouldn't notice the broccoli that I cut up into tiny bits and added to the sauce. He did and every last piece ended up on the floor. :)

After a self-fed meal of pasta and sauce, Jack really could have used one of these:

Music together

Jack and I ventured out in the rain this morning for Music Together class. Of course we were the last ones in and Ms. Danni, had to tack our names onto the end of the welcome song! Jack did so great though! He actually helped to put away the instruments instead of the usual crying when I have to practically tear them away from him. He still crawls around the room instead of sitting in my lap, but at least he's being social. He might stop to clap or do his wiggle of a dance every so often. His favorite part is when the drums come out and all the kids just sit in the middle banging away. It's great to watch.

Black Hole Basement

We've been in this house for almost one year and our basement looks the same as it did just after moving day.

Of course we've been continuously adding to the mess with Jack paraphernalia that he's outgrown and an endless amount of other stuff that just has no home. My goal is to CLEAN up and get organized down there so we can start using the space. This is a daunting task though, since I have to fit this in when Jack naps and around the other stuff I'd like to get done during nap time. I think by talking about it here, I will have a little extra motivation to get it done!

I finally started a blog!

Woo-hoo! I have taken the plunge and joined the blogging world! I have been inspired by the many blogs that I visit everyday. I suppose blog reading has become a hobby, so I thought I would join in the fun and contribute in my own way.
